DELIGHTFUL SMALL HOUSE – GREAT VIEWS FROM THE ROOF TERRACE
This small traditional village house is characterful, rustic and cosy with a quirky layout. From the roof terrace there are picturesque views across the village rooftops to El Hacho mountain in the west, and south to the Mediterranean & North Africa.
The property is well presented and is an ideal holiday home, providing a good base for exploring this beautiful area of the Serranía de Ronda. It is situated in a quiet residential area of the village not far from the Castle of Eagles, and a short stroll away from a variety of shops, tapas bars and several high-quality restaurants. There is also on-street parking nearby.
Ground floor:
The main entrance doors (part glazed) open directly into a cosy, comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove, oak beamed ceiling and terracotta floor tiles.
A few steps lead up to the recently reformed kitchen with pretty tiling and modern storage cupboards, worktops and fittings. Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a new well-presented fully tiled shower room with ‘walk-in’ shower. Next to the shower room an enclosed staircase leads up to a part-glazed door into the patio.
Upper floor:
The south-facing main bedroom has lovely views to El Hacho mountain and partial views to the Mediterranean coast. This room has a wood beamed ceiling & terracotta floor tiles.
The guest bedroom is an open plan mezzanine area with a double sofa bed, or would be suitable for children’s bunk beds, with a curtain across providing privacy when required. From this area, a few wooden steps lead into a small room with a glazed access door into the patio. This area would be ideal as a study, or children’s room with another sofa bed.
Exterior:
The patio to the rear of the house is cool & shady in summer, ideal for alfresco dining, and there is a pretty bougainvillea shrub providing a splash of colour. There is plenty of room for plant pots here too.
From the patio, stairs lead up to the south-facing sunny roof terrace, which is quite spacious and has great views across the village rooftops to El Hacho mountain (with fabulous sunsets!), and to the Mediterranean & Morocco. There is also a view of the Castle. The terrace can easily be part-shaded in summer.
The delightful little house has good rental potential and is an ideal ‘lock up and leave’ holiday home.
Furniture available by separate negotiation.
